Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

The Short Version

DoseRef has no user accounts, no ads, and no advertising or third-party analytics trackers, and we never sell your data. We do keep limited operational logs — described below — to keep the service running and to improve our drug coverage. Because there are no accounts, none of it is tied to a personal identity.

What We Don't Do

What We Do Log

To run the service and keep improving it, our server keeps limited operational records:

Your favorites, recent drugs, and display preferences are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us.

How the App Works & Data Sources

Drug information in DoseRef is sourced from publicly available FDA databases including DailyMed (SPL), openFDA, and RxNorm. Page assets (fonts and styles) are served from doseref.com itself — the app does not load resources from third-party content-delivery networks. DoseRef is a clinical reference tool — not medical advice.

Browser Extension

If you use the DoseRef browser extension, it communicates only with doseref.com to fetch drug data. It does not access your browsing history, read page content, or collect data from other websites.

Children's Privacy

DoseRef is designed for healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page with the new date.
